Obituary of Anne Marie Calhoun
Anne Marie (Beauchemin) Calhoun, 81, of Palmetto, FL, beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Calhoun, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Helen Beauchemin, had lived in Manchester most of her life before retiring to Palmetto, FL in 2001.
She was a longtime communicant of St. James Church, Manchester and was a member of their Mothers Circle. Anne Marie was the co-owner of Plum Gully Stained Glass and retired from the business office at Manchester Memorial Hospital after 18 years.
Anne Marie is survived by her daughter Gayle Connolly and her husband Mark of Palmetto, FL; and her three grandchildren Amanda Connolly of Simi Valley, CA, Sarah Connolly of Palmetto, FL, and Patrick Connolly, his girlfriend Samantha and her son Noah, all of Ellington; her siblings Michael Beauchemin and his wife Patricia of North Carolina, and Susan Perron of Marlborough. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Bill Calhoun and his wife Simone of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters-in-law; and a host of niece and nephews. In addition to her loving husband Bob, she was predeceased by her twin brothers Robert Beauchemin and Richard Beauchemin.
Family and friends may call on the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, CT, on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 18, at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Parish, 896 Main Street, Manchester followed by burial at St. James Cemetery.
