Obituary of Kenneth MacPherson

We regretfully announce the passing of Kenneth “Kenny” MacPherson, who passed away in July of 2021. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland on August 28th, 1962. He moved to the US as a toddler. He lived and grew up in Manchester where he also graduated from high school. Kenny was a big fan of the New England Patriots as well as the Boston Red Sox and would very rarely miss a game. He also enjoyed listening to Grateful Dead. Kenny had a deep love for dogs. He enjoyed camping as well as hiking. Kenny also served in the US military. Kenny had a very calm demeanor and always liked to have a good time. He was very intelligent and passed on a lot of great wisdom to those around him. He is survived by his older brother- Donald MacPherson of East Windsor, twin brother- Graham MacPherson of Vernon, and younger sister- Fiona Albert of Ashford. Kenny also had many nieces and nephews that he loved and loved him in return: James, Cristopher, Brenda, Molly, Julia, Andrew, Cameron, and Brodie. We hope that he is reunited with his dog Kasha, whom he loved beyond measure. Family and friends may call on the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, CT, on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 12-2 pm.
