Obituary of Lucille Kiernan
Lucille (Ugenskis) Kiernan, 96, of Manchester passed away peacefully on September 30,2021. She was born December 21,1924 in Hartford, CT and lived most of her life in Manchester.
Lu was an avid golfer, wonderful cook, enjoyed gardening, sewing, playing cards and making crafts that she shared with family and friends. She mostly enjoyed being with her family and dear friends throughout her life.
Lu was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert M. Kiernan and her sister, Mary Shetensky. She is survived by her children: Robert D. Kiernan and his wife Katherine of Vernon; Richard Kiernan of Hawaii; Joyce Kiernan and her husband James Mullen of Manchester; Jeffrey Kiernan of Manchester. Lu also leaves her grandchildren and a great-grandchild: Robert T. Kiernan and great-grandson Robert P. Kiernan of Andover; Rebecca Kiernan of Ellington; Chad Kiernan of Hawaii; Valentina Kiernan-Williams of Hawaii; Madison Mullen of Manchester; Blake Mullen of Manchester and Delaney Mullen of Maine.
Funeral services will be private.
