Obituary of Nancy Ann House

Nancy Ann (Wyrus) House, 84, of Manchester, died peacefully in her home with hospice, after fighting with dementia. She was born in Taunton, MA to her parents Harold and Harriet Wyrus. In 1990, she retired as a server at Mr. Steak, in which she took great pride and joy in doing what she loved. Nancy enjoyed painting, anything from flowers to landscapes. She was a natural crafter with a beautiful talent. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Randolph House, her sons Gary and Todd Marchuk and her daughter Sheri (Marchuk) Hemmavanh and spouse Vic; her step-children David and spouse Robin House and Wendy House. Nancy also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Alec Marchuk, and Benjamin and Gabrielle Hemmavanh; and step-grandchildren Sarah and Rachel House. She is also survived by nieces and nephews William M. Haberern and spouse Susan, Betty-Ann Smith, John Haberern, Ronald E. Mullen, Sara L. Donlon; great-niece and nephews, Michael Haberern, Erin Donlon Chacon and Tommy Donlon.  Nancy was predeceased by her previous husbands, Alec Marchuk and Russell Pratt, as well as a sister Norma Mullen and niece Carolyn J. Merkle. 

A funeral service will be held on September 2nd, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Talcottville Congregational Church 10 Elm Hill Road, Talcottville (Vernon), with a burial to follow at East Cemetery, Manchester.
