Obituary of Michael Buccino

Michael Joseph Buccino (Age 65) Alexandria, Virginia, passed unexpectedly on May 7, 2021. Beloved husband to Claudia Buccino; loving father of Michael, Elyse, and Ashley Buccino; grandfather of Luke and Lydia: brother of Robert, Michele, Barbara, Mary, Joseph and John Buccino. Michael was predeceased by his parents Americo Buccino and Agnes Falkowski Buccino.

He was born in Manchester, Connecticut, and graduated from East Catholic High School in '74. He later attended UCF where he studied accounting. He worked several years at Disney but most recently at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. Michael's family was his top priority. He made tremendous efforts and travelled to attend many family events. He was also an avid sports fan. He enjoyed the Raiders, Boston Red Sox but his favorite was UCONN women's basketball. He was an exercise enthusiast with a variety of daily workouts.

Mike and his daughter, Ashley, were huge advocates of breast cancer awareness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or the American Heart Association.

A graveside service will be on Friday, July 30th at 11:00am at St. James Cemetery, 365 Broad Street, Manchester, CT.
