Obituary of David L. Jones

David L Jones was born in Hartford, Ct on 10/23/49 and passed away suddenly on 5/27/21 at St Francis Hospital. He worked for more than 30 years at NorthEast Utilities and was a proud member of the IBEW. He retired to live the life of his dreams puttering around his garage and driving his wife crazy. He was predeceased by his parents Trevor Sr, Florence and his brothers Trevor Jr and Victor. David was also predeceased by the love of his life Marie. He will be greatly missed by his daughters Stacy(Christopher) of Bolton, Brenda (Jeff) of Vernon and Karen (Steve) of Tolland. One of the things he was most proud of in this life was being “Pa” to his four grandchildren, Jay-David, Ayla, Madeline and Samantha. He was at his happiest and most entertaining when he cheered on their sports teams or when he could embarrass and mortify them. He is also survived by many family and friends who will miss him dearly. Dave always had a smile, joke or a beer for anyone who dared step into his garage. His laugh will be remembered echoing across Bolton Lake for years to come. Services will be on Tuesday 6/1/21 at John F. Tierney Funeral Home located at 219 West Center St, Manchester, CT from 4:00 to 8:00.
