Obituary of Everette E. Buckland
Everette E. Buckland 91, formerly of Manchester passed away on May 25, 2021 at Vernon Manor. He was born February 13, 1930 in Manchester son of the late Eskel H. Buckland and Edythe Bell (Keeney) Buckland. Everette was happily married to Mary Jane Buckland until her passing in June of 2004. He worked as an Underwriter for Aetna Insurance for over 42 years and was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting. He was a proud member and had many friends at the Manchester Fish & Game Club.
He is survived by his six children Judith “Judy” (Scott) Hattings, Jane (Rick) Brown, Laurie (Sebby) Bazzano, Mark (Tish), Thomas (John) & Matthew Buckland: fourteen grandchildren: fourteen great grandchildren: cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides both parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by his brother Eskel H. Buckland, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Friday May 28th from 5-7:30 pm at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester. Burial services will be Saturday May 29th at 10am in East Cemetery, 220 E. Center St., Manchester.
