Alanna Gee

Obituary of Alanna T. Gee

Alanna Teresa Muldoon Gee, 72, of Vernon formerly of Manchester, the beloved wife, sister, aunt, cousin and friend passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. Alanna was married to the love of her life, Randall “Randy” Gee and during 54 years of marriage enjoyed their travels together - her favorites were to Ireland and Maine. Born in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late John and Rosaleen (Chetelat) Muldoon and had lived in Manchester most of her life. Alanna was a waitress at Shady Glen in Manchester before her retirement after 50 years of service. A “mother” or best friend to many, she filled the lives of those around her with unwavering love and support. Her thoughts and actions were always dedicated to helping others. She always knew what you needed, even if you did not, without even having to be asked. A gift to all who knew her, “holidays at Lana and Randy’s” hold cherished memories. Whether planning a party or a memorable vacation, she enjoyed planning the times that friends and family could be together. This was the most important thing to her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister Teresa Weld and her husband Donald of Vernon; her brother William Muldoon and his wife Evelyn of Cromwell; sisters-in-law Janet Bellino and Susan Salters and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews of whom she was so proud of and never missed an event to celebrate their successes. She was predeceased by their infant daughter Heidi Ann Gee and her sister, Kathleen Muldoon.
