Obituary of Marilyn L. Jones

Marilyn L. Jones 84 passed away peacefully Saturday May 8, 2021, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born September 14, 1936 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter of the late Albert Nelson Smith and Orpha (Davis) Smith. She was playing piano since the age of 8 and was pianist and organist teacher her whole life. She lived most of her life in Fairfield and New Haven Counties.

She is survived by her children Kent Donald Jones of Bridgeport, Renee Louise Jones of Manchester and Keith Douglas Jones and his wife Tara of Phoenix, AZ: five grand daughters Christie, Kayla, Kelly, Roxy and Aria Jones: one sister Leila Parks of Dallas, TX and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Along with both parents, she was predeceased by three siblings;Norman and Victor Smith and Willa Tharp.

Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church of Monroe, 515 Cutlers Farm Road, Monroe, CT. Burial will be held at Lindenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
