Obituary of Donald W. Calhoun

Donald W Calhoun Jr, 84, of Manchester, beloved husband of Christine (Smith) Calhoun, passed away from Dementia on Saturday, May 1, 2021. He was born on April 6, 1937, in Bangor, Maine. He was son of the late Donald W. and Ruth (Charlton) Calhoun. Donald was a veteran of the U S Army and worked at Kaman Aircraft early in his career before moving to a long career at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft, where he retired in 2003. He enjoyed traveling after retirement, and working around his home and property, which he took great pride in. He made many lifelong friends through the years and always enjoyed joking around with them.  

Besides his wife of almost 63 years, he is survived by his son, Steven Calhoun and longtime girlfriend Heather Frazier and grandson Ryan Calhoun of Coventry, his sister Mary Kellner of Vernon, his brother in-law Robert Smith, also of Vernon and many nieces and nephews.
