Tom - my brother-in-law - was a very dear, loving soul, always ready to lend a hand.
A highly skilled ARCHER and hunting marksman, Tom and his Uncle Allen Thompson spent many hours together pursuing these mutually enduring passions.
Occasionally my husband, Jim - (blue beret), Tom's older brother (deceased May 17 2020) would join to "watch" and entertain
them on practice sessions at Floyd Bennett Field Archery Range.
Not himself an archer/hunter Jim always took pleasure and pride seeing them WOW others on the range: Tom and Allen were typically "stars" of the day.
Tom was our go-to RED CAP at Amtrak when Jim and I would travel to Washington D.C.
If I was traveling alone Tom would always see me to the best seat ahead of the crowd.
He was so gracious and kind.
Always in my heart. Tom and Jim are now brothers in the ETERNAL.
Blessed be
Dolores Brandon Thompson

Harold {Tom} was the love of my life and will always be, he is now at peace in God's hands. with all the trails and tribulations he endured all his life, he led a good life, was the most loving man I've known. He worked for 38 years at Amtrak in NYC. he loved his job and his co-workers but most of all he loved me. Tom you are sorely missed and I will miss you everyday of my life. You're at peace now and until we meet again you'll always have my heart
