Obituary of Gary P. Tallerdy
Gary P. Tallerdy, 65, of East Hartford, the husband of Susan (Cappello) died Thursday, April 15th, 2021 at Hartford Hospital with his family at his side.
Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late William and Rose (Mandeville) Tallerdy. Gary was very proud to have served in the United States Army and also enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and NASCAR.
He is survived by his sons Daniel of North Carolina, Christopher of Manchester and Kyle of East Hartford; his granddaughter Skylar, with whom he shared a special bond; his brother Robert and Joann of Colorado; his sisters Debby and Sue Garrick of Derby, Barbara and Gene Ferris of Bridgeport and Darlene and Joe Rowley of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother William, sister Diane Verdi, and a special niece Tammy Penny.
Services are private under the care of John F. Tierney Funeral Home.
