Obituary of Cynthia G. Andisio

Cynthia Gerow Andisio, 63, of Manchester, Beloved wife of James J. Andisio, passed away on April 11, at her home after succumbing to a long battle with dementia. Born August 23, 1957 in Clinton, NY, the daughter of the late Frederick Gerow and Palma Steinman Gerow. Cindy was a caring woman who earned her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Boston University. She worked at many hospitals in the state and taught OT at Goodwin University. She was a communicant of St. James Church in Manchester where she tried to remain active. Cindy took a sincere interest in all her patients and worked hard to insure their success. A special thanks to Dennis and Jo Anne Schultz for their care of Cindy.

She is survived by her husband James, her mother Palma Gerow of Vernon, NY, her sister, Rebecca Denee and her husband Thomas, both of Vernon, NY and nephews Rob Denee and Alan Denee and their families. She also leaves many dear friends and relatives who loved her for her kindness and positive attitude. In lieu of flowers, Cindy requested donations be made to St. James Church, 896 Main St. Manchester, CT 06040.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 16th at 9:15 from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at St. James Church with burial to follow in St. James Cemetery, Manchester.
