Doris Leger Johnson
March 8 1928- March 30 2021
Doris Leger Johnson, daughter of Yvon and Emerantine Leger, was 93 years of age when she passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 30, after a brief illness. She was a sweet, kind and loving soul. Doris was loved by all that knew her for her kindness, wit and extraordinary sense of humor. She was a devoted Catholic, and late in life often conducted Sunday services for others. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond F. Johnson and sister Lorraine Prevazini.
She leaves behind her children Sharon Hasan, Raymond R. Johnson and Anna Mae Duff as well as nine grandchildren: Bridgett, Heather, Raymond, Ramsey, Nadeem, Sameer and Emile, Curtis and Stanton as well as ten great grandchildren: Brian, Dylan, Brendan, Brooke, Kadence, Khloe, Melina, Alden, Kiara and Raymond Jr. She was loved dearly and will be missed. May her sweet soul Rest In Peace.
The family is grateful for the kind and excellent nursing care she received at Vernon Manor.
Family and friends are invited on Tuesday April 6th at 10:30am for period of visitation prior to the 12:30pm prayer service at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 291 W. Center St., Manchester.
