Ruth Sieffert

Obituary of Ruth N Sieffert

Mrs. Ruth Nancy Sieffert of South Windsor, Connecticut passed from this earth on Monday, March 29, 2021, with her daughter Laurie by her side. Our Mom was born on March 25, 1923.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than life itself. Mom never met a stranger and everyone loved her. She was kind, generous and had the most loving heart. She was always there to encourage and give endless love and hugs. Mom had a wonderful sense of humor and was always smiling. Her greatest joy and accomplishment was being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mom loved spending time with her family, traveling to the beach, watching the sunset and enjoying a glass of Carlo Rossi wine with her friends. Mom was the glue that held everyone together and she made the world a better place by just being in it.

She leaves behind her children, Sheryl Sieffert Martin(Dan) of North Carolina, Al Sieffert , Jr.(Jill) of South Carolina, Laurie Sieffert Ochnio(Carl) of Connecticut, Nancy Sieffert Baldaro of New York.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Al Sieffert III of Massachusetts, Adam (Chana) Sieffert of Vermont, Ben (Cristina) Ochnio of New Jersey, Tim (Megan Carlo) Ochnio of Connecticut, Sarah (Brandon) Hill of North Carolina and Nicholas Baldaro of New York and great-grandchildren Braysen and Oliver Sieffert of Vermont. She will be missed by many loving nieces, nephews and her friends at Berry Patch.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 3:00-5:00, at The Berry Patch Clubhouse, 205 Oakland Road, South Windsor, Connecticut. Please join us to share a favorite story, memory and a hug.
