Aunt Colleen...,.so lucky to be her nephew. She was warm, good natured, and always willing to go out of her way to fo something special. Being second oldest in the next generation, I have a lifetime of great memories of times spent with her... family gatherings that she organized, and numerous visits with her in more recent years in Glastonbury and Manchester. They are memories I cherish. - Pat Giles

I remember working with Colleen at Snet 1969 to 1970. I was newly married and only had to walk to the Snet office from Linden street. She was a very nice lady and liked her pleasant personality. I wish i stayed there longer. May she rest in peace.

Colleen's smile, laugh and sense of caring for others will always be in my heart. She was a godsend to our family, having cared for our children for 10 years. Colleen was our friend and always a safe haven in the storm. Her heart was as big as the world. She loved everyone. "Mrs. B" will always be with me in spirit. Love, Beth

I think I was one year older than Michael. I think that my earliest recollection of your mom, Colleen, probably started when I was five-ish. We lived in Crystal Lake (that would be at, not in :-)) a pretty short. My brother Mick was probably when you’re younger than Michael maybe? So I remember the rest of you kids as little, shaved heads with impish smiles etc. Our parents played cards n stuff.
Colleen I realize now was probably a strong model, along especially with my grandfather for how an adult can connect directly and thoughtfully with kids. When I interact with small kids I pop right down to have us at the same level. Had never decided to do this just figured out after many years that it was automatic. Colleen as I now surmise of you all who knew her also know was just a wonderful thoughtful humorous and “interested” and engaging person.
Glad I was one who shared a little morsel of her life.
