Obituary of Shannon M. Foley

Shannon Muire Foley 40 passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 9, 2021 at Hartford Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Shannon was born in Hartford on May 20, 1980 daughter of Peter F. & Nancy (Bowlby) Foley. She was raised in Manchester and a longtime resident of Hebron but more recently was living with her family in Colchester. She was an avid fan of the New York Giants and the New York Yankees.  She enjoyed watching her son play football and now her nephew playing football and baseball. She also loved watching her niece follow in her footsteps with the love of dance. She had special bond with her youngest nephew which would light up both of their faces. She shared an obsession of Disney with her sister.

Shannon is survived by her mother Nancy Foley of Plymouth, MA, her son Jorge Luis Escobar III, a sister Megan L. Sheehan and her husband Ryan of Colchester, niece and nephews DJ, Padraic, Chris, Kenzie, Jakob and Everett, special friends Jorge L. Escobar, Jr., Sam & Jenna and numerous relatives and friends including the Carlton’s. She was predeceased by her father Peter F. Foley and a brother Gerald E. Foley.
