Obituary of Elaine M. Dufour

Elaine M. Dufour, 77, of East Windsor, died Saturday March 6, 2021 surrounded by her family.  Born in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Adele (Jokubaitis) Mazotas.  

 She will forever be remembered for her super kind heart, generous spirit, and never ending offers of root beer. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she couldn’t get enough of them. Better known as GramE to them they shared a very special bond that only a grandmother and grandchildren can understand. 

She is survived by her children Jeffrey Fournier and his wife Christine, Lisa Stuka and her husband Michael, Jennifer Dufour Blackwell and her husband Matthew , and John Dufour and his wife Kelly; her grandchildren Madison, Benjamin, Maren, Drake, Hadley and Jaxon; and her brothers Ted Mazotas and his wife Carol, and Kenneth Mazotas and his wife Lynn.  She was predeceased by her sister Beatrice.  

A graveside service will be held on Saturday March 13th at 10:00 a.m. at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, 1 Cottage Grove Road, Bloomfield, CT. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has care of the arrangements.  For online condolences please visit www.tierneyfuneralhome.com.
