Obituary of Laurianne Ouellette

Laurianne Ouellette (Auntie)

Once, in the City of Village Charm there lived a woman who was pure of spirit. Chances were that if she caught your eye she would bestow on you the gift of the brilliance of her heartfelt smile. That coupled with the sparkle in her eyes could turn a gray day to sunshine. She was truly a giver of light.

Laurianne went to join her heavenly family on February 27, 2021. She was born to Edouard and Emilia Tremblay Ouellette in Lewiston, Maine, on August 1, 1931. She was the youngest of seven children. Not long after she graduated from Edward Little High School she and her sister Aurella moved to Manchester, Ct. where she enjoyed her job at Aetna Insurance in Hartford. Their last residence was at Orford Village Commons where they met and enjoyed spending time with their many lovely friends there. Laurianne was blessed to have the friendship of Yvette Norman who often checked Auntie’s well-being. She especially enjoyed playing The Bingo as she called it. Most recently Auntie enjoyed all the weekends spent at her sister Carmen’s home making puzzles and eating ice cream with June Duncan, a very special friend.

Laurianne was predeceased by her parents, 3 sisters, Aurella Ouellette, Rita Ouellette, Marie Dennison and 2 brothers Camille and Edouard Ouellette Jr. She leaves behind her sister Carmen Jutras of Manchester, nieces and nephews Diane and Paul Bouchard, Catherine and George McCann of Manchester, James Jutras and Linda of Scotland, Glenn and Suzanne Jutras of Coventry. Bertrand Ouellette and Paul Ouellette of Auburn Maine, and her godchild Ann Louise Dennison Michaud of Sabattus Maine. She also leaves her grand nieces and nephews, Aimee Cormier, David Cormier, Shane McCann, godson Luke McCann, Sarah Morrissey, Rachel Syme, Emily Morris, Mathew Jutras, Amanda Runge, and Jake Jutras. Also, 19 great-grandnieces and nephews and 3 great-grandnieces making their debut in June.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful and compassionate staff members at Vernon Manor who have made the passing of a special lady as bearable as possible.
