Obituary of Judith A. Reilly
Judith A. Reilly, 78, of Coventry, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Bronx, NY she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Josephine (Elmo) Santoro and the loving sister of the late Joan Waligurski.
Judy spent most of her adult life as a homemaker, raising four children with her ex-husband Frank Reilly. She later went on to work for an Orthodontic practice near the family home in Montvale, NJ.
A passionate Italian woman, incredibly loyal to her friends and fiercely protective of her family, Judy was one of a kind. She was an incredible storyteller, had an infectious laugh and made everyone feel welcome. She loved the Jersey Shore, spaghetti with marinara sauce, loudly attending every single one of her kids’ sporting events, Elvis and The Yankees – to name just a few things.
She is survived by her children Chris Reilly and his wife Laura of Chicago, IL, Robert Reilly and his wife Laura of New York, NY, Jim Reilly of Atlanta, GA, and Jennifer Rodgers and her husband Scott of Coventry, with whom she made her home; and her grandchildren Jordan and Skylar Reilly, and Megan, Emily and Ryan Rodgers.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 12th at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester, CT. The service begins at 1 pm, with loving words from the family starting at 2 pm. We appreciate that many would like to attend, but due to the pandemic we will be keeping the service private.
