Elizabeth "Bette" Tucker passed away unexpectedly on December 7th, 2011. Bette was a wife, mother, sister, cousin, friend, and most importantly an angel to everyone that was lucky enough to have been touched by her love. She loved her family and friends more than anything in life, but also enjoyed music, baking, crafting, riding her scooter, and attending drag races. She was quick to lend an ear, a hug, give advice, or tough love. She was previously the tax collector for 8 years at the 8th Utilities District, Manchester and for the past 7 years has been the delinquent tax collector for the Town of East Hartford. She was also a member of the CT Tax Collectors Association. She was predeceased early in life by her father Edward and mother Dora Goodreau. Bette leaves behind her husband of 30 years, Robert A. Tucker, two children Rhet and Jessica Tucker-Unruh, a son-in-law Ben, and a brother Ed Goodreau of Santa Monica, CA. Bette left behind many very special people among them, her doting father-in-law Robert and wife Naomi Tucker of Vernon, CT, her adoring Auntie Lee LeBlanc of Natick, MA, her favorite Uncle Bob Mauro of Maynard, MA, and her best friend Mary Lapenta of Manchester. She also leaves behind endless cousins and friends, her cat Reggie, and her grand-pup Diesel. Family and friends may call at the John F.
