Obituary of Edith L. Sapienza

Edith L. (Price) Sapienza, 95, of Bethpage, TN formerly of Manchester, CT. the wife of the late Rosario S. Sapienza died Friday, January 8, 2021 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.  Born in Pensacola, FL she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Tabitha (Colvin) Price and was the youngest and the last surviving sibling of 13 children.  She had lived in Manchester for most of her life and had retired from the Connecticut Bank & Trust Company. 

She is survived by her children Stephen P. Sapienza and his husband Maurice Fougere of Cromwell, CT and Teri Sapienza-Bolduc and Mark Kelly of Bethpage, TN, Her Grandchildren Lawrence Palombizio of Windsor, CT; Tony Palombizio and his wife Sarah of South Winsor, CT and Kristina Sapienza of Minnesota. She also had 7 Great Grand Children Katherine, Ashley and Rosario Palombizio, Drew, Kyle and Jake Palombizio and Brandon Sapienza of Minnesota.  In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her children David R. Sapienza and Linda S. Palombizio.

She will always be the Bella Momma of the family and will always be dancing.  She always knew how to have fun and make each member of her family feel special.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Church 745 Middle Turnpike East, Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester.  Family and friends may call at the John F.
