Obituary of Valerie M. Saglio

Valerie M. Saglio 88 of Manchester passed away on January 7, 2021 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Val was born May 22, 1932 in Waterville, Maine daughter of the late Florian & Orena (Burgess) Bolduc. She was a graduate of Manchester High School and then received her certificate as a hairdresser. She later worked for Bank of America as a Loan Originator. Val was a member of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and baking.

She is survived by her three children, William “Skip” E. Saglio III & his partner Charlene Palka of Coventry, Debbie & Dave Larson of East Hartford and Leah & Sam Lourie of Manchester: five grandchildren Melanie & Christopher Larson, Wesleigh Saglio, Sam & Danielle Lourie: six great grandchildren Jalen, Addy, Jasmine, Bradley, Gabby & Josie: a sister Joyce Bridgeman: and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Along with both parents she was predeceased by two brothers Donald & Wayne Bolduc.
