Obituary of Elizabeth Kawecki

Elizabeth “Betty” (Kravontka) Kawecki, 99, died on January 5^th, 2021.  The daughter of the late Elizabeth (Petras) and Quirin Joseph Kravontka.  Betty was born in Manchester and raised in Glastonbury.  She was the widow of Henry J. Kawecki.  After her marriage she moved to Waterbury and lived there for 70 years.  She was predeceased by her 3 brothers, Frank, Andrew and John.  She worked for P&WA, Timex, Scoville and retired after 30 years from Anaconda Metal Hose where she worked as a Production Controller.  This spirited, loving, generous, and supportive ‘Aunt’ is survived by three generations of family who miss her.  Betty will forever be in the hearts of those who love her dearly.  She attended St. Stanislaus and St. Leo the Great parishes in Waterbury. 

Burial will be held on Monday January 11^th at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Cemetery, 368 Broad St. Manchester, CT for the immediate family.  The service will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/TierneyFuneralHome.  The John F.
