Anthony Petrone

Obituary of Anthony Thomas Petrone

Anthony Thomas Petrone, 36, of Manchester passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 after a courageous fight with an illness. Anthony was born on November 13, 1984 and raised in Manchester, CT.  He graduated from East Catholic High school in 2003 and received his bachelor’s degree from Newbury College in 2007. Anthony most recently held a position of Northeast Region Outside Sales Advisor at Empire Industries, Inc.

Anthony is survived by his parents, Peter and Michele Petrone of Manchester, his sister Kimberly and brother-in-law, Michael of Glastonbury, his brother Matthew and sister-in-law Kristen as well as his beloved nephew Charlie of Hawthorne, CA. Anthony is also survived by his nana, Gloria Petrone, of Manchester.

Anthony leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Although he may have only been uncle to one nephew, “Uncle A” leaves behind dozens other little ones to whom he met the definition of uncle in every other way. He also leaves behind his godson, Ronnie Sheehan as well as his goddaughter Kathryn Rothschild.

Anthony loved his family and friends and rarely missed any events.  In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Anthony loved Manchester, his jeep and being on the water. Some of his favorite memories were that of times spent at Black Point Beach which he recalled often.

Anthony is predeceased by his grandmother and grandfather, Tom and Mona Wilke, his grampy, Peter Petrone and his best friend, Michael J. Dyer.

The family would like to extend a note of sincere thanks to the staff at Hartford Hospital for the exceptional care they took of Anthony during his fight. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MACC. Anthony always liked to give to the homeless when he could so consider giving a dollar to someone in need the next time the opportunity presents itself.
