Obituary of Leo Boulanger

Leo P. Boulanger, 88, of Vernon, the beloved husband of Doris (Pfeiffer) Boulanger passed away Monday, December 28, 2020. Born in Orleans, VT, he was the son of the late Joseph and Gwendolyn Boulanger and had lived in Vernon for over 53 years.  He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War and had retired from Unisys as a Computer Specialist in 1985. He then started L & S Painting & Wallpaper and enjoyed improving people’s homes until retiring in 2012. Leo was very proud to be a Vermonter, a Boulanger, and a friend to all. Simply put, Leo was a good man. He will always be remembered for his smile, positive attitude and love of laughter.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, he is survived by his children Terilee Boulanger and her husband Christopher Delvecchio of Coventry, and Scott D. Boulanger of Clancy, Montana; his beloved grandchildren Carissa and Celia Delvecchio; his sisters Rita Hilliard, Evelyn Corey and Catherine Bechert and numerous nieces and nephews. He joins his seven brothers and many family members and friends in the Kingdom of Heaven.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. Bartholomew Church, 736 Middle Turnpike East, Manchester at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2nd, followed by burial with military honors at Valley Falls Cemetery, Vernon.  Due to the pandemic, capacity at church is limited to 50 people. Please use your discretion.  The Mass will also be live streamed on the parish website at live.manchestercatholic.org. The John F.
