Obituary of Jerome McCaffrey
Jerome F. McCaffrey 76 beloved husband for 53 years to Carol A. (Knybel) McCaffrey passed away surrounded by his family on Dec. 24, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital. Jerome was born January 19, 1944 in Willimantic son of the late Henry & Beatrice (Garvey) McCaffrey. Jerome proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion, the VFW and the Army / Navy Club in Manchester.
Jerome is survived by his wife Carol, two children Kevin McCaffrey of Manchester and Kelly Gallahue and her husband Steve of Stafford Springs, and a grandson Mason Gallahue.
A Graveside Service will be on January 19th at 11am at St. James Cemetery, 368 Broad St., Manchester. Memorial contributions may be made in Jerome’s memory to a local Veteran’s Charity. For condolences online and to livestream please visit www.tierneyfuneralhome.com
