Obituary of Dawn J Rucker
Dawn Joy Rucker, beloved wife of Jeffrey Glen Rucker, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2020 at Hartford Hospital. Dawn was born March 6, 1978 in Hartford. The daughter of Daniel J. Zapor and Charlotte Ann (Brewer) Zapor. Dawn was a very loving daughter, wife, mother, niece, aunt and friend to many. She was very involved with her family and enjoyed times at the beach.
Dawn is survived by her husband Jeffrey, her three children Jeffrey Lathan Rucker Jr., Liana Rucker and Cheyanne Rucker, her father Daniel J. Zapor, brother Daniel J. “DJ” Zapor, sister in law Mayra Zapor, father in law Jeffrey Simpson, mother in law Jeanette Gaines, grandfather Papa George Crandall, brothers in law Earl Rucker, Jeffrey Simpson, JR., Chris Norton, Henry Gaines, Lester Gaines, sisters in law Michelle Gaines and Karen Gaines, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved Nana (Theresa Crandall) and her mother Charlotte.
Funeral services are private under the care of John F. Tierney Funeral Home.
