Obituary of Katherine L. Baker
Katherine Baker (Lynch) of East Hartford formally from Norwich passed away on Dec. 18, 2020. Kay was predeceased in death by her husband William.
Kay is survived by her sister & brother in law’s Doris & Bob Whitehill, and several nieces & nephews. She will be missed by her children Mike & Melinda, her granddaughter Ellen and her fiancé Adrian, granddaughter Susan and husband Kevin, and grandson Bill and his wife Hannah. Also two of the brightest lights of her life, great grandchildren Cole and Ilsa. The family would like to thank all of Kay’s neighbors who always looked out for her. Also to the East Hartford Senior Center where kay enjoyed many years of companionship she found with the twice weekly Tai Chi.
Special thanks to the caregivers & nurses from Athena Home Health & Hospice, Companions & Homemakers who showed her & her family love and compassion. Due to the pandemic services will be in the Spring of 2021 and memorial contributions can be made in Kay’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
