To the Hayes & Lindsay Families-
I am heartbroken to learn of Carol’s untimely passing. Carol was kind, compassionate and always smiling. I worked with Kitty, her Mom, for many years- sharing a wonderful friendship, enjoying adventures together. Carol would frequently stop to visit us at Avery Street School back in our working days. She was witty, always laughing with her Mom and I and telling great jokes and stories. She had kept me updated as to your Mom and family through the years, writing me letters whenever she could.
May memories comfort you all at this sad time. This virus has taken so much from so many- may you find comfort in that Carol is at peace and reunited with her Mom&Dad in Heaven-
My condolences to everyone-
Mrs Nancy Lohmann

Our hearts ache for the Lindsay family. Everyone who knows Carol is well aware that her beautiful family was the light and joy of her life. She was first and foremost devoted to her loving husband, her amazing sons, her wonderful daughter-in-law, and her beloved grandchildren. Our love and prayers are with you all.
Carol truly made the world a better place with her kindness, generosity, and always-gracious manners. Her thoughtfulness and positivity overflowed to all those lucky enough to be around her, and her many friends and co-workers adored her.
I’m personally so grateful for my long friendship with Carol. Both moms of three sons, we shared many laughs and fun times as we raised our boys, from gymnastics and trips to the Lutz museum to playgrounds and the beach. As the boys grew up, our friendship deepened; Carol was always there for me to celebrate good times and support me with any of life’s challenges. We shared a passion for art, books, and travel; I'll miss our talks, especially Carol's wise insights and great sense of humor. Over the years we enjoyed dinners, beach days, birthdays, and memorable trips with Carol and Sean -- so many special times! We will cherish those memories forever.
You will always live on in our hearts, dearest Carol.
Love, Leslie Johnson-Cohen and Bruce Cohen

To The Lindsay Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss of Carol.
I first met Carol when she joined my MCC Crohn's Support Group. No matter how Carol felt she always had a smile on her face. She always brought Peace to all those around her. In the midst of it all she always stayed strong.
She was such a Blessing to all of us.
May You gain strength from the Strength that Carol always brought to others.
May Carol rest in Peace.

Dear Family,
Carol was a pleasure to work with at MCC. Even though you don’t know me I feel like I know all of you because she shared so much about her family, especially her husband, sons and grandchildren. I say pickoff you all every day as I walked by Carol’s desk. We would always chat. She was so friendly. She loved you all very much and was so proud of each of you.
She lived life fully. She made me laugh. I will miss her beautiful smiling face. I loved her style.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother.
She will be missed,
Sincerely,
Darlene

Mrs. Lindsay,
Words cannot explain how unfair this is. You truly were a special person.. funny, corky, always interested in whats going on with my life. Growing up with Ian, I would be over alot, and you would always invite me in with open arms as if i was one of your own sons. Ian and I may have been a bit rowdy with our lightsaber battles or goal line stands (Ian would know what I mean by that), or continuous whoopings your son would give me in Madden... you would always be there to question me to why I liked the Giants haha or introducing me to the dogs, bunnys etc. You were always there and made feel like i had another home and family. You were truly a great person, and its just unfair i will never be able to see you again. I just want to thank you for giving me my best friend in Ian for life, and thank you so much for everything, i will truly miss you. Rest in peace.
