Obituary of Celeste Cantrell
Celeste A. Cantrell 51 of Coventry passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family at home on Friday Dec. 11th. Celeste was born March 1, 1969 in Hartford daughter of Bruce A. & Yvette (Bedard) Cantrell. She was raised in Manchester graduating from Manchester High School. She loved going for rides with Woody in their convertible and she also knew her whole family’s birthday’s and anniversaries and always forwarded them to the local news stations.
Celeste is survived by both her parents, her fiancé Durward K. “Woody” Croft, their three children Bruce K., Austin J., and Elizabeth Y. Croft, four sisters and their spouses Cheryl Dec, Denise Cantrell & Jeffrey Warner, Renee Meucci & Paul and Andrea Bertussi & Richard, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday Dec. 15th at 10 am in the Church of Assumption, 27 Adams St. South, Manchester, followed by burial in St. James Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited on Monday Dec. 14th from 4-7pm to the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester.
