Obituary of John W. Arcari
John Wardner Arcari 64 of East Hartford passed away peacefully on December 9, 2020 at his home. John was born in Hartford on June 25, 1956 son of the late Louis Dominic Arcari and Dorothy Elizabeth (Doughty) Arcari. He was raised in East Hartford and graduated from East Hartford High School in the Class of 1976. John was well liked, charismatic and funny with a wonderful personality. He was extremely strong despite having been born with Cerebral Palsy which affected his entire right side, and he happily took on all comers for an arm wrestling contest that he would always win, with his left hand of course! John was a joy to be with and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his siblings Jerry Louis Arcari and his wife Pam of Oregon, James Louis Arcari and his wife Lee of Washington, Dorry Judd and her husband Eric of Manchester, and Louis Arcari Jr. of Vernon. He also leaves numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at a later date to be announced. Graveside service’s will be on Monday December 14th at 10am in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 930 Burnside Ave., East Hartford.
