Obituary of Lyn-Ann Felber

Lyn-Ann Felber (Pottinger),53,of South Windsor, beloved wife of Frank Felber passed away peacefully in her Florida home early Sunday Morning 9/27 after almost four years of fighting ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by her family and her fur babies.
Lyn-Ann was loved by so many; she had a smile that could light up a room in a second. Lyn-Ann met her husband (Frank) when she was 18 years old thanks to a mutual friend Robin Goode. Their love was everlasting and they celebrated their 28th year of marriage on 9/26. They ended up having two children her son Frankie Felber (27) and her daughter Erin Felber (24). She lived in her dream home that she got to design with her family in Lebanon CT for over 12 years. In the neighborhood she made so many friends she called the “Card Street Crew”. Lyn-Ann loved everyone she met and made everyone want to be around her. She loved being outside gardening, making fires, playing fetch with the dogs, taking walks, or even just sitting out and tanning. Being at the beach was her favorite place to go, she always loved the sand, the smell, the sounds everything, that was her safe place.
Lyn-Ann loved going on trips, weekend getaways with her husband (Frank) to Cape Cod. Trips to Salem Massachusetts every October with her daughter (Erin) and Erin’s best friend Samantha Lund who Lyn-Ann thought of as a second daughter. She also enjoyed going on hikes and walks with her son. (Frankie) Anytime she could she was booking little trips just to explore.
Lyn-Ann’s dream was to always live in Florida when she got sick her husband (Frank) made her dream a reality. They picked up and moved into a beautiful home in Palm Coast Florida with all their fur babies and she couldn’t have been happier. She loved exploring new places so Florida was perfect, she went to Daytona beach multiple times a week, St Augustine, and ever where in between. One of her favorite places to go was Disney World she got a season pass and loved every second of it she would go alone and love it or go with friends or family is was always a highlight for her no matter how much she went.
Lyn-Ann was very passionate about children and helping them. She worked as an educational assistant and teacher for over 10 years. During that time, she made a work family people she thought of as sisters and brothers. She made everyone feel comfortable around her, all the children flocked to her everyday just to get one of her “famous” hugs.
Lyn-Ann is survived by her husband Frank, her children Frankie and Erin of Lebanon. She also left behind her Father Bill Pottinger who was married to the late Gladys Pottinger, Father in law Frank Felber and Mother in law Diane Tilliston. Her two sisters, Lorene (Peter) Fortin of Tolland, Deb (Vincent) Pinto of Hebron and her sister in law Linda Felber ( East Hartford) Nieces; Kelly Pinto( God daughter), Kara Crandall, Stacey Pinto of Hebron. Nephews; Josh Fortin, Matt Fortin (God son), Roger Lasky, Ryan Lasky. Great niece; Madison Pinto. She also had many aunts and uncles and cousins. Along with her amazing friends; Robin Goode, Laura Hall, Ellen Marouski, Michaela Willoughby- Gorham, Sandi Melo and her children Julianna Alfonso and Angelena Alfonso, Sheri Olsen, Christine Bialczak, Carrie Sneed, Kathleen Taylor. She also adopted many of her children’s friends and treated them like her own; Samantha Lund, Evan Llanes, Shayde Caldarone Howlett. Fur Babies; Ziggy (dog), Kiwi (cat), Prometheus (cat), Sissy (cat), Little Bear(cat) Aires (cat), Athena (cat), Lucky (bird).
Services will be held on Wednesday 10/7 from 4:30pm – 6:30pm at John F Tierney Funeral Home in Manchester CT and is open to anyone who would like to come. Masks are mandatory.
