Obituary of Earl H. Rudin

Earl Henry Rudin “Skip,” age 73, passed away on Tuesday September 22, 2020 after a short illness. 

Skip was born in Manchester, CT on November, 9 1946 and lived there his entire life.  He is the son of the late Earl H. Rudin and Mildred Rudin.

Skip is survived by his brother Rick Rudin and his wife Elizabeth of Lebanon, CT, nieces, nephews and cousins, including his cousin and caretaker Lynn Chemerka-Shea of Willington, CT. 

He graduated from Prince Technical School in Hartford, CT.  He studied culinary, which led him to a career as a chef.  For many years he worked at the State Armory Officers Club, which included preparing dinner for the Governor’s Inaugural Galas. 

His favorite hobby was antiquing and he will be remembered by his witty, dry sense of humor. 

Following his wishes, Skip will be cremated. 

He will be buried with his loving grandmother, the late Barbara Chemerka at St. Bridget Cemetery.
