kacey, you don’t know me, but I remember your mother as a child and young woman. Her mother, Adeline was a cousin of my late husband Edward Sloan. I have fond memories of Christmas nights at the home of Mildred and Eddie (my inlaws) where they hosted the entire Jackson clan. Barbara will live on in your beautiful memories of her. With deepest sympathy for your loss.

Kacey, we want you to know that we share your grief, tempered by many good memories of a very special person. Barbara had a great sense of humor. Probably got it from Auntie Adeline…or was it Uncle Joey? Or both?? As long as memories remain, they will inspire new life. Here’s one of Jeff’s memories: “Many, many years ago at a family gathering at her parents’ house, all of us kids were in the cool pool in the back yard behind the carport. Uncle Joey at the grill said: “O.K., time to eat...everybody out of the pool”. All of us climbed out except for Barbara. She said to her Dad, “I’m not that wrinkled yet.” In response, her mom through the kitchen window, yelled, “Young Lady, you are wrinkled enough, come and help bring the food outside!”. A very wrinkled Barbara finally complied. I’ll always remember lots of fun and lots of love when we all got together.” Barbara will be greatly missed.
We hope that time will heal your grief and help you to accept the sad passing of your mom as a step on a journey that never ends. Our hearts go out to you, Jane, George, MaryEllen and your entire family. We, your family, too, are all here for you.

My name is Julie Nutt. Barbara took care of my parents John and Janice DeNigris. Although my dad would sometimes forget her name, He fondly would call her and remember her as “Mike” Mike was a very loving and caring person and will be deeply missed. My condolences to Kasey and the family. Rip “Mike”. You will be forever in our hearts We miss you!

My cousin Barbara was a beautiful, kind and generous soul. We had many fun times together, and what a sense of humor!!! She was deeply loved by me and my family. She was so good to my parents and helped care for them in their home. She was a wonderful human being and I will miss her laugh and her spirit. Above all, she loved her daughter Kacey with all of her heart. Kacey is carrying on her tradition and legacy of kindness and generosity. Kacey, our hearts grieve for you, but we are always here for you day or night! Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your aunts Mary and Jane. Kacey you are surrounded by love!♥️♥️♥️
