Obituary of Lee Brownbill

Lee Stephen Brownbill Sr., 49, of Charlotte North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on June 1st. He was born in Sidmouth England on November 21, 1970. His family relocated to Manchester Connecticut during his early childhood, where he grew up and attended Manchester High School. He later moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he has resided for the past 21 years. Lee had worked for several hotel brands during his career in Engineering leadership.

Lee is survived by this loving wife, Melissa, and his cherished son, Lee.  He was especially proud of all of “Little” Lee’s accomplishments in basketball, football and martial arts.

Lee is also survived by his parents, Terrance Brownbill of East Windsor and Yvonne Brownbill of Manchester, sisters Beverly Luther and Shelley Brownbill, brother Dean Brownbill and wife Rhonda, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins here in the U.S. and in England.

He loved spending time with his family, taking trips to his favorite beaches in Charleston and Cape Cod or to the mountains.  Lee enjoyed hanging with his friends on the golf course or playing pool. He was equally as happy at home on the couch watching reruns of MASH or cheering (or yelling, depending on the scores) on the Giants, Red Sox, or the Celtics.

Services for Lee will be held on Friday, June 12, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Tierneys Funeral Home in Manchester, Connecticut.

An additional memorial service will be held in North Carolina at a later date.
