Obituary of Carol Lynn Grochmal

Carol Lynn Grochmal (Thompson), 72, of Manchester, CT, the wife of the late Samuel Adam Grochmal, passed away on May 24, 2020.

Carol was born in Panama City, FL. On August 28, 1947. She graduated from Conner High School. Carol was married to Samuel Grochmal on April 11,1977; they were married 23 years.

Carol worked as a Loan Officer for a bank for years, now retired. She enjoyed tag sales, going to the Cape, floral design, gardening, and the casino. She was also actively involved in charities such as St. Jude and ASPCA.

Carol is survived by her son Greg Strona Jr. Her daughter Rachael Strona. Her grandchildren Dominick Strona, his wife Christina, Anthony Donofrio Jr., Catherine Donofrio, Samantha Harris, and Kimberley Stimson. Her siblings June Kumar her husband Parmod, Patricia Schumsky, Michael Thompson, and other family and friends.

Carol is also preceded in death by her father Charles Arthur Thompson, her mother Carolyn Catherine Thompson (Venditti) and her sister Christine Thompson.

Due to the current circumstances the funeral services will be held at a future date.
