Obituary of Norma M. Sheridan

Norma M. (Labbe) Sheridan, 80, loving wife of the late Charles Sheridan Jr. died peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2020 in Vernon, CT. She was born in Winterville, ME, the daughter of Edmond and Inez (Tardie) Labbe and had lived in Mulberry, FL for most of her retirement before moving back to Connecticut in the spring of 2019. She was a very strong and hard working woman, having worked at Dean Machine for many years, did hairdressing on the side and ended her career working side by side with her husband, the love of her life and best friend, doing long haul moving for Capitol Moving Company and getting to see all of the United States except for Alaska. She had a love for cooking and in her retirement won many awards for chili cook offs and baking contests in her community. Norma is predeceased by her son Mark A. Labbe and survived by his wife, her daughter-in-law, Cindy Labbe. Norma is also survived by her son Michael J. Labbe and former daughter-in-law Jenny Labbe. She was a loving grandmother to Cassidy, Brooke, Andrew, Adam, Heather, Jordan and Zachary. She was great grandmother to Jayce and Rylie. She and Charles shared a very special bond with Cassidy and Brooke, as they lived together for several years. Norma is also predeceased by her sisters, Shirley Williams, Leora Devoe, Lucille Barnum, Rosa Labbe and 2 of her brothers, Reno Labbe and Johny Labbe. She is survived by her sister Priscilla Labbe and her brothers Leo Labbe and Richard Labbe. Relatives and friends are invited on Friday Jan. 31st from 11:30 – 12:30 to the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester for visitation prior to the 12:45 graveside services in Hillstown Cemetery, 180 Hillstown Road, Manchester.
