Obituary of Paul J. Rossetto

Paul Rossetto, 66, a lifelong resident of Manchester, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 from ALS, Lou Gehrig�s Disease. Paul is survived by Claire Cyr Rossetto and his three children, Joseph Paul Rossetto from St. Pete Beach, FL, Carol Lyn Rossetto of New York, NY and David John Rossetto of Mystic, CT. He is also survived by his sister Joyce Lindsey of Manchester. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Olive Rossetto. He was co-owner of Blanchard and Rossetto for 33 years. Throughout his life he held various positions that supported the Town of Manchester including the Zoning Board of Appeals, past president and member of UNICO and the past president of the Manchester Country Club. Paul was an avid golfer who was dearly loved by his family and close friends. He enjoyed spending time at the Manchester Country Club, Vermont and the "office�. Throughout his courageous battle with ALS, he embraced those whom he loved, maintained his dignity, exemplified courage, and a strong sense of humor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday (June 4, 2005) at 11:00 am at the Church of the Assumption, Adams St. South, Manchester. Burial will be at the convenience of the Family. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St., Manchester on Friday from 4:00-8:00 pm.
