Obituary of Barbara K. Malena
Barbara K Malena, 70, of East Hartford, wife of the late Joseph Malena Sr., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday December 17, 2019. Born February 4, 1949 to the late Henry Kay Jr and Rita (Castagna) Kay, she worked in Insurance at Aetna for 19 ½ years and later for Salmon Brook for 13 years.
Barbara is survived by son Joseph Malena Jr. and his wife Angie Malena of Vernon and daughter Melissa “Missy” Malena of East Hartford, Granddaughter, Joslynn Jackson of East Hartford and Grandson Gregory Jackson Jr. of Hartford. She also leaves her sister Patricia Sexton of East Hartford; several nieces and nephews.
