Obituary of Gerald G. Lynch

Gerald G. Lynch, 73, of Manchester, beloved husband of Frances (Kamm) Lynch, died Saturday (May 7, 2005) at Manchester Memorial Hospital with his loving family gathered together after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 27, 1931 in Manhattan, New York. He was the son of the late Thomas Joseph and Elizabeth (Kelly) Lynch. He was a devoted and loving husband, adored father, grandfather and great grandfather. Besides his wife he is survived by his children; John K. and Cynthia A. Lynch of Hebron, Thomas J. and Deborah Lynch of New Britain, Gerald Lynch of Waterbury, Deborah M. and Richard C. Kurker of East Hartford, Beverlee A. and Kevin Kennedy of Santee, CA, Gail L. and Wayne Arcamone of Rowayton, Elizabeth and George Singh of Waterbury, and Kathleen and Scott St. Germain of Waterbury, his grandchildren; Olivia, Thomas, Gerald, Joshua, Richard, Michael, Michelle, Marc, Amanda, Julianne, Mark, Mary , Kaleen, Bridgett, Chelsey, Nina, Scott and Katelyn, his great grandchildren; Meghan, Hannah, Elizabeth and Briennah, his brother and sister in law; Thomas J. and Helen Lynch of Glastonbury, his two sisters and brothers in law; Elizabeth and Vincent Valentino of North Haven and Rosalie and Robert Smith of FL. He was predeceased by a brother John R. Lynch. He was a co-owner of Satellite Aerospace Inc. in Manchester which was established in 1975. He spent his adult life in the aircraft business. He had a love for the stock market, reading newspapers and sharing his passion for history with his family. He was a loving person who put the importance of family above all else. The family wishes to thank the compassionate care of Dr. Minh Han and the hospice staff at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be Wednesday (May 11, 2005) 10:45 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption Manchester. Burial will be private. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the John A.
