Your Mom and Grandmother was a remarkable woman who accomplished so much. She was so proud of you all and loved being the matriarch of her large family.
What comes to my mind of memories was time spent in Vermont and going to services on Sunday conducted by Monks in beautiful open air surroundings. Her faith was so strong and never failing.
She loved her comfortable home and her hospitality in sharing it with her friends. Times spent on her deck with wine and enjoying her private backyard was very special.
Her son, MIchael made such a difference in Haiti helping those so less fortunate and now that Doris will continue with contributions in her memory.
I feel blessed to have known your mom and grandma. God bless you all

Hello Doris' family--
We met Doris in 1977 when we purchased our first home in Manchester. Immediately, we knew her to be a person of impeccable integrity whom we could trust implicitly. Eleven years later we called upon her again when it was time to move to a larger home. At that time we were both working full time and had a six year old son. Not once did we need to concern ourselves with the sometimes puzzling, mandatory details of the sale of our home and the purchase of another. Her keen intelligence, superior knowledge of the real estate business, and consummate professionalism made the process easy and stress free for us. In 2011, when our son was interested in purchasing his first home, we suggested that he contact Doris. He did, and the process and results again were excellent as she dealt articulately with the ever escalating and daunting real estate transaction complexities. She made the process look so easy when we knew it wasn't.
Several years ago I visited Doris at her home. Somehow I had learned she enjoyed John Grisham's novels as did I, and so we exchanged a few titles. She wasn't driving at that point and so I had the honor and privilege of taking her about on a few errands. Doing so seemed so little a thank you for all she had done for our family. We enjoyed a good visit along the way. Although life was very different for her at that time, she was nonetheless so very positive and upbeat about it. She spoke lovingly of her children and grandchildren and of the many special times you spent together. We hope she was aware of how special she was to our family, and I am sure as well, to the hundreds she met and advised and guided throughout her stellar career.
Our memories of Doris are so very special. She and you are in our prayers.
Most sincerely, Nancy and Mark Traut

My condolences to Mrs. Bourque's lovely family. No one on Earth should have to cope with heartache. The lost of such an amazing person was not in God's plan. Genesis 1:28
Explains that God wanted mankind to subdue the Earth, never did it say for a short period of time. Because Adam and Eve sinned, we as their offspring have inherited sin and death. But, we do have hope that we can see our loved ones again. We will see mother's, aunt's, sisters, grandmother's, and great-grandmother's again. Revelation 21:4 explains this.

I first met Doris in the late eighties, when I became president of MCC. I have clear memories of her pride in her family and the clarity and energy she brought to everything she did. She had strong beliefs and was always helpful to others. She was a leading force in the Older Adults Association; she left this world a better place.

My condolences to Doris’s entire family. You were always the most important thing to her and she spoke of all of you with the highest praise. Doris and I worked together at ReMax for years and enjoyed our time there as well as some fun trips to Vermont and conventions throughout the states. She was always a positive, upbeat, smart member of our ReMax tribe and will be missed.
God Bless, Doris!
