F. Robert "Bob� Hallisey, 82, of West Dennis, MA. Formerly of Manchester passed away on Thursday (May 5, 2005) in East Sandwich, MA. Bob was born in Hartford, CT to Francis and Evelyn (Ford) Hallisey. He graduated from Buckley High School and Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. Bob enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War II and served in the Pacific Theater as a Japanese Interpreter. Bob was an auditor with the State of Connecticut, Department of Revenue Services. After retiring, Bob moved to West Dennis, MA. He was a communicant of St Pius X Church in South Yarmouth, MA. Bob was predeceased by his wife Irene (Reynolds) Hallisey and his sister Evelyn Hallisey. Bob is survived by his four children; Robert and his wife Diana of West Yarmouth, MA. Irene of Norwich, Debra of Andover and James and his wife Barbara also of Andover. He leaves four grandchildren; Christopher, Connor, Matthew and Molly. Bob is also survived by a niece JoAnn Hall and her husband William of Cotuit, MA. and a nephew John Foberg of Roslindale, MA. Funeral service will be Monday (May 9, 205) beginning with a calling hour from 9:15 - 10:15 at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center Street Manchester, CT with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. James Church Manchester. Burial will follow in East Cemetery Manchester.
