Obituary of Michael D. Foley

Michael D. Foley, 71, of East Hartford passed away on September 13, 2019 at his residence. Mike was born March 11, 1948 in Spokane, Washington son of the late Herbert Francis Foley and Janice Margaret North Foley. His family moved all over the world as his father was in the United States Air Force. Michael then decided to serve his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a passionate woodworker and excelled at his craft. He is survived by two children Shawn & Mary of California: three sisters Eileen Remillard of Manchester, Janice Kozur of North Carolina and Rose Mary Wyche of North Carolina: and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Along with both parents he was also predeceased by a sister Coleen Bolduc. Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday September 18, 2019 at 1pm in Veteran’s Field of the Silver Lane Cemetery, 1280 Silver Lane, East Hartford.
