Obituary of Emil Botti

Emil A. Botti, 85, of Manchester, the husband of Carmelina (Attardo) Botti died Saturday (April 2, 2005) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Hartford, he had lived in Manchester for much of his life. Emil was a self-employed plumber in the Manchester area for over forty years, and served in the US Army during WWII. He truly enjoyed the time that he spent at the Jefferson House Adult Day Health Center in East Hartford. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Constance Santariga and her husband Anthony, Bruce Botti and his wife Angela, Richard Botti and his wife Hope, and Laura Unterreiner and her husband William; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Christine, Jason, Joseph, Jennifer, Amber and Leah; and his great-grandchildren, Breanna and D.J. He is also survived by his brother Charles Botti and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10 am at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester, burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 4-8 pm.
