Madeleine and family.
I was sorry to read about Harry's death.
Madeleine - I enjoyed talking with both of you in the short time Harry was at Vernon Manor. Take care of yourself and keep eating those PB&J sandwiches.
Harry - May he rest in peace.
Shalom.

Madeline and family,
I'm so sorry about Harold. I've lived in New Hampshire for a number of years, but I still check the Courant's obits on occasion. Madeline and I moved up here to be closer to my daughter and her family. Madeline passed away a little over one year ago. I've kept in close touch with some friends who live in CT from my WLHS days-I don't know if you'll remember these names, Madeline, but I still communicate with Bob Rossi, Stephanie Levine, Lenny Stine, and Con O'Leary.
I have many fond memories of both you and Harold, and of the kids. We had some fun times together. Remember when Tom came on a gig to check out the life of a working musician? He may remember it, but I'll bet he's forgotten where that gig was-the Indian Hill Country Club in Newington!
Harold was so much more to me than just a colleague. He was also a caring friend, a mentor, and, in some sense, a father figure-though I would never say that to his face. I was young, naive, immature and, in many ways, adrift. He became my anchor-at least I'll always think of him in that way.
It will be difficult for all of you, but especially for you, Madeline. I speak from personal experience now. I can't be there this weekend because my elder granddaughter graduates from high school on Friday and her graduation party is on Saturday, so, instead, I make you an offer: It's okay to be alone: you get used to it, But it's never okay to be lonely. If you feel lonely, pick up your phone (603)679-3443. We'll do some catching up while we celebrate your Harold's and my Madeline's lives. I wish you and the kids only the best. Harold was an extraordinary person, The world was a better place when he was in it. Now he's with Rob.

Harold was my mentor when I finally moved from being a tutor to an English teacher at WLHS. I remember being quite intimidated by him when I was a tutor. We were sitting down talking about the students on my list, and when I asked him a question about one of his students writing, he said, "I didn't know you were my supervisor." Then I really got to know Harold as a kind man as he guided me through the BEST program. One day I was telling him about my voice and how much I hated it because it was so monotone. He kindly said, "That didn't sound monotone to me." Ironically, I was thinking of him just a few weeks ago wondering why I didn't get a Christmas card this year. I am so sorry for your loss, and I hope you know how we respected and loved him. Georganna Trosky

Please accept my condolences for the passing of Harold. There is hope though, as the Almighty has arranged for the resurrection in the future. He promises, "... There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." (Acts 24:15)
I hope you find these few words comforting and provide motivation to prepare for the new world of God's making. (John 17:3)

While Mr Robinson wasn’t my English teacher (WLHS ‘64), he was for my sister Spring who passed in 1999, and was a extremely talented puppeteer. Somehow he tracked me down in Manchester, passed on a unique work from her years at WLHS within his classes, which I passed on to her children.
Such dedication and appreciation as a teacher is just a sample of him. Truth be told, I wish he had been my English teacher ... we had a laugh because the one I had ruined me for nonfiction reading for life!
His saving my sisters work from over 45 yrs ago, and tracking me down, astounded me ... and is att Ute to what kind of teacher he was,

Mr. Robinson was my English teacher in my junior and senior years at WLHS (class of 1963). I attribute my success in all my professional positions throughout my working career to two years of Harold Robinson’s expectations from his students. Thank you Mr. Robinson for the demands you put on your students to achieve. I owe a lot to you. I only wish we could have sat down and had this discussion, R.I.P. Mr. Robinson.
