Obituary of Thomas E. McCavanagh

Thomas Edward McCavanagh, 53, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019. 
Thomas was born and raised in Hebron Connecticut with his parents and sister. He loved NASCAR but his true lifelong passion was for the water. He was an avid boater and boat mechanic for over 30 years. His boating family at Petzolds Marina will forever miss Tom and Zeus. He loved his family and friends and cherished the time he was able to spend with them. 
He is survived by his sister, Sharon McCavanagh, and her partner, Gary; his niece, Kayla, and her wife, Rachel; his ex wife, Lucinda “Boofy”; dear friend Lynn; and his best K9 friend, Zeus. 
He is predeceased by his father and mother, Harry McCavanagh and Marjorie (Gorman) McCavanagh. 
Services will be held from 6-8pm, Wednesday January 30th, at The John F Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. in Manchester Connecticut.
