Hermingilda A. Purisina, 90, of East Hartford died on Saturday (November 19, 2011) at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Manila, Philippines, the daughter of Antonio and Florentina Ancheta. Hermingilda was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She is survived by her daughters Rose Sacdalan of East Hartford, Nena Geromino of Los Angeles, CA and Violeta Delacruz of East Hartford and her grandchildren Gilbert Geromino, Heidi Reed, Melissa Andrews, Michelle Ahmed, Sheila Santos, Allan Santos, Revelyn Delacruz and Rina Delacruz. She is also survived by seven sisters. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester on Tuesday (11/23) from 4-7. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial held at 9:30 am at St. Isaac Jogues Church, East Hartford.
