Obituary of Esther C. Kloter

On December 18, 2018, Esther C. Kloter, 93, was Promoted to Glory. Her wish to “go home to the Lord” was fulfilled. Born June 3, 1925 in Manchester to Benjamin and May (Johnson) Kloter, she grew up in the local area and worked in the Cheney Brothers mills. She also enjoyed living in Miami, Florida and Seattle, Washington and traveling to the British Isles. Esther also loved being with family and so she eventually settled back in Manchester, CT.  Esther was known for her love of cats and tigers.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Ernest Kloter and sister Pearl Perrett.  She is survived by her niece Cheryl Miller and husband Merle, nephew Walter Perrett and wife Jeanne, nephew Donald Perrett and wife Pam, her beloved great nieces and extensive family.

Celebration of her life will take place at The Salvation Army, 661 Main Street, Manchester, CT at 11 am on Saturday January 19, 2019. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, 661 Main Street, Manchester, CT 06040. The John F.
