Obituary of Lisa Marie Hallowell Moran

Lisa Marie Hallowell Moran, 48, of Willington, formerly of Manchester, died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Hartford Hospital after a long illness.  Born in Manchester, March 28, 1970, she was the daughter of her father, Robert “Peter” Hallowell and stepmother Susan Hallowell of Manchester, and her mother the late Dolores Strickland and stepfather the late David Strickland. Lisa had graduated from the University of Connecticut with B.A. and B.S. degrees.  She enjoyed going to the beach, gardening, and helping others.  She was always there when you needed her.  She is also survived by her daughters Shelley Barlow and Sara Barlow of Manchester; her granddaughter Vanessa Cintron; her brother Robert S. Hallowell and his wife Coelleen of Mill Creek, WA; her dog Lola; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and close friends.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 27^th at 11:00 a.m. at the John F.
